BLOOM WHERE YOU ARE PLANTED
It took me 14 years to get my Frangi-Pani(Plumeria) to bloom, after we moved to Aiken, in 1975, and this dear plant was a cutting from my Grandmother Bouterse's and has followed me all the way here,to Beaufort!(These are the flowers that they use in the Hawaiin lei's)
David noticed, however, that it had become root bound, and wasn't growing, so he divided it, for me, and placed the two plants in two larger pots, thus removing them from their restrictions.......
Now, they are both free to grow, and in just a few short days, the taller of the two plants, has sported a beautiful pink bloom!
You know, if we are careful, in our own lives, not to allow ourselves to become "root bound to sin", we will be able to grow, and bloom for Christ.....
If we don't, we will be restricted by sin taking hold in our lives, so that we are unable to grow, and we will become root bound, and eventually die.......
What a waste of a beautiful plant!
What a waste of a beautiful person!
Becky
