WE CAME TOGETHER

It was a March, when we first came together. There were seven of us mothers, and we had given back to God sons, at sometime in our lives, and we were coming together at my Edisto beach house for a weekend of healing. Healing, consisting of walking on the beach; laughing; crying; eating, and just sharing ourselves with each other.....
That March, we joined hands with Charlotte,Leslie,Cheryl,Ramelle,LaVonne,Jennifer, and myself. Our time together brought with it pictures, memories,.....lots of memories,folks, because that's okay here.
It's kinda hard the first year, because you don't know what to expect, but in an instant, you inherit a brand new family of the most incredible ladies, ever!
Ladies, who don't mind you talking about your precious child; they allow you to spend time with your memories, and you heal.
These friendships are bonded together and sealed with something that is stronger than cement.I think it's the glue of our Lord's Grace that seals it!
Sadly, we seem to grow, every year, and this next weekend, we will have over twelve ladies coming.This means that another mother is having her heart strings severed this year. We will be adding some new and very dear friendships too.
It's hard when you lose someone, but when it's your child, it's really rough.
Please be gentle with us in our healing process. It doesn't make any difference to us "when" they left us. We just know they are gone, and not coming home. We won't see them, until we go home!
There is this big huge void in our hearts.....forever......becuse our child is gone.
Thank you folks, for understanding, the next time you see someone who has lost a child. It's like having that child back in your womb.
You can't see him,or her, but you always feel their presence.
