WHATCHA THINK?

When my daughter was about ten years old, we drove to Florida, to see my mother.She lived on a lake, so Kelly naturally liked to go swimming.
One of those morning's, while she was in the water' with her elbows propped under her chin, lying on her tummy, looking up at me,I noticed a (huge) black snake wiggling its way up between her legs.
In my most authoratative voice,I said:"Get out of the water now!"
She obeyed without question. I asked her later, why she didn't hesitate,or question me?
She said my eyes were as big as saucers and because I spoke with authority.
I think we need to remember, when God gives us His word, He is giving it to us with all authority too, and we really would be a whole lot better off listening to Him!
I think it's called "obedience."
