A GOOD READ
Most of you all know how much I like to read.
Lately though,I've gotten pretty particular about what I read. I sorta feel like I don't need to put all that extra garbage into my mind, that's out there today......I just don't!
God's word tells us to think on things that are:
true;honest;just;pure,lovely,and of good report, and that if there is ANYTHING of virtue, I'm to think on these things, not the garbage in the world! So why should I read the other stuff?
Those traits mean working, at becoming genuine;honorable;clean;righteous;beautiful...... Wonderful attributes that can only make my mind grow and bloom with beautiful thoughts.It's not always easy, but it surely does keep you content, and secure, when the trials come rolling in,........................ and besides,His word is a good read too!

Becky, this is wonderful news. I know you will be so blessed by your decision to be a doer of the Word and to carefully guard what you allow into your mind and soul. Recntly, the Lord has also dealt with me in this same area of my life. I can testify that you will see such wonderful fruit from the changes you are making. ((Hugs))
