HIS MASTERPIECE

My how my God amazes me......all the time!
He comes up with this "stuff" that is so creative;or wierd;or wild!
All to accomplish His purpose.
He may use a talking donkey, or tell a prophet like Hosea, that he is to marry a prostitute named Gomer.......What a sense of humor He has, when He wants things accomplished.
It's funny though, when you say "No" to God, He will hound you until you do what He wants, and then, after you "give in", He tends to show you the reasons "why" He did what He did!......
Almost always after we show Him our obedience and trust!
As soon as Abraham proved his devotion, by being willing to sacrifice his son on the alter, God knew He had His loyalty and obedience, and provided another sacrifice for the offering.
What a fragrant aroma that must have been to our Lord!
Even today, I probably will never understand the "why" of my son dying at so early an age, but that would be an earthly reason, to answer the"why". It is much easier to explain in terms of God's Sovereignty, believe me!
By trusting in God, through this time, I have met other "Mom's Who have Lost Children", and I think that when God put it on my heart for us to get together, and I obeyed this, inspite of the pain, He honored that obedience, and has given me one of the sweetest blessings ever, by knowing these special Mom's.
Only God knew, that perhaps these mom's might just need some encouragement along the way, and hey, I'm great at that!
That's the outline I'm telling you about,folks.....
We don't always see what it is that He has in mind for us, but if we trust in, and obey Him,...... and just cruise along, He'll finish drawing our picture.
I understand He's a pretty good artist too!
