MY QUIVER IS FULL
When I was in high school,I dated someone, whose father loved archery, so naturally I gave the 'ole bow and arrow a try myself!.....Whooee,was it ever hard! I remember, he told us to always prepare our arrows, before we took them out to shoot. We had to sharpen the flint, to better hit the mark!
You know, scripture tells us that man is indeed blessed if his quiver is full, but before his little "quivers" can be released into life on the outside, they need to be prepared, and this should be started at a very early age too, for maximum results.
Then, after they have been prepared, you need to take them and point them in the right direction. This requires good, sound guidance from both parents, right from the get go!
Probably, the hardest part in this, though, is the release portion......
When you let the arrow go, you have alot of outside elements that will distract you,and interfere with your target.
You can only "hope" that you will hit your mark!
When you let your children go, you also have outside forces that will try to distract you, and interfere with your hitting your target....namely satan!
However, you have someone on your side, who has already OVERCOME the world, and satan, so you can hit your mark on this one for sure!
