TRUE CHARACTTER

My senior year in high school,I received the National Honor Society's "Character" award, on our senior awards day.That, and the Babe Ruth Foundation Sportsmanship Award, which I also received, were the two most significant and important awards to me in my life. Sportsmanship and Character have always meant alot to me and still do. They are both part of my basic makeup.....
The molding of our character is very important to our Lord,too.
He often will delay opportunities for us, in order to reshape and refine us. He will take us through the fire, so He can see His image when we come out on the other side.
Sometimes, this character building isn't much fun, but the results are worth every bit of the pain.
I figure, if I can remain true to the character of my Lord, then that's all the award I will ever need,or want!
I'll have a new NHS award then.....
Namely His Service! :p)
