PLAIN & SIMPLE

Most of you know, that my daughter,Kelly, is getting married this coming September. She is almost 29, and has a pretty good idea as to how she wants things done. Plus with both of us in different cities,I haven't been able to do very much with this wedding, and to be truthful, that's the way she has wanted it. Nevertheless, this Mom has had her feelings kind of hurt, because I have felt kind of left out of the wedding planning, because she's doing it all herself!.......God has a way of showing me,EVERYTIME, that His ways are the best ways, and He did just that, about a month ago. I stopped at my favorite eating place on my way to Edisto, and was telling Miss Etta about my situation, and the first words out of her mouth were:"Isn't God awesome Miss Becky, for knowing you would never be able to remember all the details, and to let your daughter handle all that!" I would never in a million years have looked at it that way. You know something? She was right too, and it took this precious little black lady who loves her Lord to tell me in such a way, that I can do what He would have me do.......Love my daughter and help her in anyway I can!
That's what I call a plain and simple way to get a profound message across!
