JULY IN CHRISTMAS!

Mike handed out some pamphlets in class today, for our annual "Christmas In July" program, that our church sponsors. It's a really neat way for folks,here, to purchase a $10 box for children in South Africa. These boxes are shipped empty and then filled with goodies and necessities over there, and the delight of the children when they receive them, is written all over their faces! It's kinda like having Christmas in July.....
When I think of July,I think of our country's independance, and when I think of Christmas, I think of our Savior giving us independance from our sins. So, it's truly appropriate to name this
Christmas in July!
Christ's independance from sin!
What a Christmas gift....anytime of year!
