WHAT'S IN YOUR FOUNDATION?

There's a modular home going in, next door to my house,out here in Seabrook. It's exciting to watch this one, because I missed the first few days of mine going in, due to heavy rains falling.
This past week, they've laid the concrete foundation and pilings, so it is beginning to take shape. The modular home has just arrived in sections and it is exciting to watch it come in too! I did notice, that after this last rain, several sections of one side of the foundation had eroded. The surface looked okay...... good and solid, but it was what was underneath, that you had to be concerned about......
The underneath part, was what would prove sturdy and true, in the long run......
The same holds true on our Christian walk.
If you try to build your faith on unsound and swaying doctrine, then, when the powerful winds come(and they will!), you will show forth erosion all around you!
It can't be helped!
Now, if you build your doctrine on the sound word of God, through His Son,Jesus Christ.....and nothing else.......it will hold up through anything!
It will stand the test of time and you will be stronger for going through it, with your Lord.
He's just that kind of Lord for His children......
