BROWNIES

Since I was so sick, as a little girl, my Mother would only allow me to be in Brownies, and not Girl Scouts. If my memory serves me correctly, I think their little song was the following jingle:
"Make new friends, but keep the old,
One is silver, but the other is gold."
I've always liked that little ditty.
I have a treasure chest of friends, that I cherish so very much. I not only have Silver and Gold friends, but I have Bronze,Amethyst;Ruby;Diamond; Pearl friends......
I did say I have a treasure chest of friends, didn't I? Some,like Tara,began as infants;some like Schatzi in elementary school;Lois came from my 6th grade year; Patti & Jeannie were there from first grade too....
Too many to name.....Way too many!
I just love my friends,folks. A female Will Rogers. Just call me Willamina Rogers! :p)
I have gold friends in Aiken......
I have silver friends in Beaufort........
I have a combination of the two, in both places!
They all claim my heart, just as my Lord God knew from the very beginning.
I imagine, that when I die, if they give my heart to someone else, all my friends will have to go along with it!
