ELISABETH ELLIOTT

One of the most thrilling moments in my life, was when the ladies of my church in Aiken, were able to go up to Ridge Haven to hear Elisabeth Elliott and her daughter speak at our women's retreat! She has always been one of my favorite authors and speakers, so it was an honor for me to see her, and an extra privilege to be able to sit at the table with her for lunch one day. My, my what a treat for me to be able to talk with her one on one!....I was thrilled! She had such godly wisdom and insight into living for Christ.
This will all pale in comparison, though, one day, when I sit down to eat at the table with King Jesus. I will fill on the Bread of Life, and won't need to be at a retreat, because just being with Jesus will be a real treat!
