PROUD PAPA
David and I arrived in Cherokee around five o'clock today.I managed to heat up some She Crab Soup;cut up some strawberries;toast some Cranberry Bread, and sit down to supper with Allen and Theresa on a damp/ muggy evening!
Picture the leaves in the trees swaying upwards as the sky darkens.Gazillions of trees signal an impending shower;Crickets and Katydids, are in full chorus, while a nearby stream is gurgling away. The Lightning Bugs are flitting everywhere, and an occasional campfire can be seen flickering through the trees.
Folks, tonight, God has simply outdone Himself!
David and I have been siitting on the porch talking like two 'ole love birds. This has done my heart a world of good, too.
Isn't our Lord wonderful to do something like this?
To put something like this on the top of a mountain, way up here,in the middle of the week, for little 'ole me to enjoy!
I'd say He loves me quite alot.
My eyes are saying so.
While my heart bursts with pride for Him!
Becky
