SOON & VERY SOON

As I was drove into town this morning,I arrived at the airstrip, at the same time as a huge bomber came swooshing overhead for its "touch 'n' go " practice.It almost scared me to death,because I wasn't prepared for it! The noise is deafening,but more surprising is the sheer size of these planes as they come in for a landing from out of nowhere!
When I see them do this,I'm always reminded of scripture when we are told that one day,we will look up and see our Lord and Savior descending on a cloud,with a loud sound like a trump, and the dead will rise first and meet Him in the air.Then those of us who are still alive,here will meet up with them in the air and go Home with our Lord to Heaven.As best I can tell, only those who know the Savior, will see Him then.
I'm pretty sure this will be one spectacular sight,and because I know it will happen,I am prepared for it, and not frightened by this sudden appearing!
Infact,I'm looking forward to it!
