BEFORE HAND

I woke up last night,with a charlie horse and boy did it ever hurt! I knew exactly what to do though, because I was prepared before hand.I quickly stood up and made myself stand on my foot and pronate it.I also ate some Bananas for breakfast the next morning to help build up my Potassium.I didn't have to read up on what to do,because I knew ahead of time the course of action to take,and I was instantly prepared.Boy, was I ever thankful,too!
In the same way,we are told to know the word of God and what His word says....."to study and show yourselves approved;rightly dividing the word of God." If we will study God's word and tuck it into our hearts,then, when we are in a difficult situation, we will automatically know what to do. We won't even have to think about it, because we will automatically do the right thing.
When satan comes(and he will) to taunt us with his trials and temptations, we can just say "no"!Because our God is faithful and just, and will with that trial or temptation, offer a way of escape,so that we may be able to endure it. ....and it doesn't have to be Bananas either!(Although they are helpful!)
