Yep! ...........If I had to give a quick version of my testimony,folks, these verses would sum it up!
I grew up in a wonderful family of 5 siblings, and had a grandmother, who, all the while she was teaching me how to make Guava Jelly;play Dominoes;sew clothes and learn how to embroider, was also teaching me that if I loved God, as much as I said I did, then the only way I could ever be with Him in Heaven, was to believe in His Son,Jesus.Now,Grandmother never lied to me, so it made sense to me.........so I believed her!
"Just like we had to get the impurities out of those Guavas,Becky", she would say,"God let Jesus die on a cross, so He could take away all your impurities, and you would be able to go to God"!
It was that simple! She chose simple words for me,way back when I was just a child!
Needless to say,John 14 became this 'ole girl's scripture foundation, at a very early age.......
If Jesus said in His word, that He was going to prepare a place for me, and that He would come back and get me, and take me Home to be with Him,.......Well, then, HE'S GONNA DO IT!!!
