RAINY DAYS & MONDAYS

On rainy days,when I was a little girl,I use to go outside, with a host of miniature toys, and build a "flotilla" on the entrance drain to our house, that Daddy built.It always reminded me of a river, so naturally,I had to build a bridge, and then create a damn, to stop the flow of water running through it!
I would,then place a small block of wood at one end, with several of my toys on it, and see how far I could float it down the drain....
Usually, the leaves and sticks, would stop its progress,though.
If the drain were free of leaves,my "ship" would travel fairly well, but if there was too much trash in its path, it wouldn't budge!
I was stuck,until I cleaned it out! I usually had to do this over and over too!
Our christian walk,is kinda like this too.......
We can be sailing along "smoothly" through life, and then, all kinds of trash will come along, and clog up our minds and hearts,making forward progress, completely stop!
God, however, has built a bridge, that has enabled us to get out of this mess. He has cleaned up the water,by giving us "Living Water", through His Son,Jesus, and it's a one time thing!
Clean water, and a bridge to God......
Pretty neat,if you ask me!
