GOD'S PALLETTE

I love to paint!
More so, I love to mix the different colors with the paint I already have, and try to come up with the exact color I see in my minds eye. I will take a little bit from each color, and then mix it into the colors I already have been given, and will come up with something spectacular! It always seems to turn out right, every time!
When we are given our spiritual gifts, (whether we are given one,or more than one), on our pallette of spiritual colors, we need to take advantage of the other colors too, and learn to blend them into our own......To mix them with our own colorful gifts, and paint a beautiful portrait for the Lord!
We don't have to paint a masterpiece, but we can dab our lives into these extra colors, and by dabbing our brush into them, we can further glorify our Lord.
No, they may not be our main gift, but by dabbing our brush in them, we can mix them with our main gift, and my,oh,my, what a beautiful picture for the Lord that will be painted!
My gifts are faith and encouragement/exhortation, but as the Holy Spirit allows me,He will let me dab my brush in the extra gifts of mercy and hospitality, blending those colors in with my gifts. What a fun painting it makes to further glorify my Lord.....
One thing I do know, for sure, is that He won't ever allow me to dab my brush in the color of administration! Woo Hoo!!!
