He's not the same man I fell in love with,Lord.
Back then, there was a little more on top of his head, and there wasn't that little bulge that makes his tummy look "not so small"! .........My, was he ever handsome,Lord! Back then, he had those "lambchop" sideburns, and some really strong muscles! My,my,my, he could melt my heart with those eyes, and that smile,Lord!
We were different,Lord, but I just fell head over heels for him, and I couldn't help myself!
Father,I grew up knowing all about You, and I love You soooooo much! I'm not sure that he had that kind of relationship with You,Father. So, yes, we're different there too!
He has so much to give,Lord, so please remember that he needs You too. No, he's not the same man I married, but he's so much more to me,Lord. He's made me more of the person You wanted me to be. Please don't give up on him,Lord, but "create in him a clean heart,Oh God, and renew a right spirit from within".
He may be different,Lord, and may not be the person that I married, but my heart says You created a treasure when You created him and he needs to be preserved at all cost! Thank You Father!
