WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE

Most of you know, that I have a best friend, and that we have known each other for over 58 years! Now, that's something, isn't it? There isn't anything that we wouldn't do for each other. We don't always agree, with one another, but we always love each other! I know, that at anytime, I can call on Tara and she will be there for me(and she has!), and the same goes for me with her!
Someday, though, one of us isn't gonna be there for the other one, and as sad as that may be, it did get me to thinking, of a more important friendship......
One that will never die! I also have a best friend in Jesus! He too, is one I can go to, at anytime, and tell him anything,......... and he'll listen! He may not always agree with me, but He'll love me, and gently guide me back to a scripturally correct solution.
I guess that old hymn says it best! "What A Friend We Have In Jesus". Amen, to that one, and He's even given me an earthly best friend to boot, and she's tops in my book, too!
