BAND OF LOVE

On my left hand, is my gold wedding band, from my sweet hubby, David. On my right hand, is the gold wedding band, that belonged to my grandmother Bouterse..........the two most precious people within my heart, and these little circular bands are a reminder of their devotion and love.
One reminds me of her hardships, as a Dutch, Baptist minister's wife, but through the faithful devotion of her Lord, how she kept the "shine" in that little band. The more recent of the two bands has a few more scratches on it, but if I look close enough, I think " I can see" the Savior's guiding face, as He has helped me along in my travels.
Two circular bands......
Two different people, that I love so much.....
Joined together, because they are soldered together with God's love, and will never be melted down..........
