ONE IN HIM
Some see our Lord through the eyes of sorrow. They fear that gladness will never find its way back into their hearts again! They will often weep with those in sympathy, but rejoicing is unknown to them, for it's a foreign concept.
Some see our Lord through the eyes of joy. Sorrow has never touched their lives, so they cannot weep with those who need comfort.
They will never know that joy and sorrow are within each other!
Or will they?
They will only know this, through the presence of the Creator of Sorrow and Joy, and who was the "Very One" who walked through each emotion....joy and sorrow, wearing a crown of thorns, and came out wearing a Kingly Crown!
Those nail scarred hands, showed the eyes of joy that our Lord was a King of Joy, and gave us great victory!
Those nail scarred hands showed the eyes of sorrow that our Lord was a King of Sorrow, and the scars on His hands are of the agony that He suffered on our behalf!
So, by coming together, they found that united in Christ, joy and sorrow, could be one in Him!
