FEATHERWEIGHT

When I learned to sew,I did so,on Grandmother's portable Singer Featherweight Sewing Machine. She had a small piece of plaid material wrapped around the top portion of the machine, where she had placed all her pins.
This is the machine where I learned to match plaids;make button holes and zippers, and even made all my children's baby clothes along with my own maternity clothes.
It's stored in my closet right now, gathering dust, awaiting some new grand babies.....(haha!) Grandmother always told to me to rightly divide(and sew) the word of God, and to make sure that I went out and sewed His word, wherever I went! She would tell me that I had the thread to God's story, and all I had to do, was to weave it into the fabric of our lives, whenever I sewed it!
Cool,huh?
I love my featherweight, but I love the one who gave it to me more!
I love my salvation, but I love the one who gave it to me more!
